Hello to all, I hope this email finds you well, safe and embracing spring as best as possible.
I know this situation is proving to be extremely fluid, but I am so encouraged by the numerous ways I see our design community connecting; so much so that it prompted me to share some of my favorites.
As always, Business of Home is providing us with current information regarding everything from event rescheduling, small business crisis assistance as well as their usual company profiles and launches. I personally find their articles and podcasts very insightful.
Our friends at Workshop APD have created a shared document highlighting company production updates that I am sure will prove to be very valuable as design firms navigate the next few months.
Many designers are appearing live on Instagram as a way to stay connected. In particular, I have enjoyed watching conversations via Createurs Design Awards, Thom Filicia and Phillip Jeffries. Even I am going live a couple times per week from my personal account, atelierathome, straight from my kitchen while we cook dinner and share recipes. I have found even more off-industry fun via Brad Goreski’s Bradbucks, lol parenting notes from Simon Holland, and fun virtual wine tastings via some of my favorite vineyards in Napa (Cade, Chappellet and Arrow & Branch to name a few).
Best wishes to you all during this difficult time; we would love to hear from you for any reason, and of course if there is anything we can do to help your firm with the ongoing projects, that are hopefully staying plentiful.
Sending Love,
Jillian O’Neill
